About
Animals and Art
I've always had a love for animals, and my interest in wildlife conservation led me to pursue a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Science from the University of Georgia. I graduated in 2019 with the goal of working as a Wildlife Biologist; however, I found myself missing the creative outlet that art provides. After a few years working as a Manager at local nature preserves I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in art. Now, I combine my passion for animals with my artistic skills, creating unique wildlife artwork and pet portraits. My custom pet portraits are created using your photographs as a reference. My goal is to craft realistic drawings that bring your pet to life on paper. I primarily work with Faber Castel Polychromos colored pencils. I only use the highest quality materials in my pet portraits and wildlife artwork. Please contact me if you are interested in a custom portrait of your pet!
For my wildlife artwork, I exclusively use my own photographs as reference images. Many of these photos were taken during my travels to Botswana and South Africa, where I studied Wildlife Conservation, as well as during research trips to the coast of Georgia.
